Grown only on the Atlantic Coast of Colombia, the Magdalena River Mango® does not contain preservative substances, colorings, artificial flavors or other additives. Its flavor is rich and aromatic. They are all fully ripe mangoes, yielding a very homogenous product from the beginning to the end of the harvest.
This product exhibits the typical characteristics of those obtained from healthy, naturally ripe fresh fruits. The Product is free of defects and has very good color, flavor and aroma. It is free of residual skin particles and other foreign materials. The flavor is characteristic of ripe Magdalena River Mango.®

It has a smooth outer skin that can vary in color from green to yellow, orange, or red depending on the variety. The flesh inside is soft, juicy, and surrounds a large flat seed. Mangoes come in many different varieties, each with slightly different textures and flavors.

The mango trees thrive in warm climates and can produce fruit for many years once mature. Mangoes have been cultivated for thousands of years and hold cultural and agricultural significance in many parts of the world.

The primary differences involve the processing method, preservation of volatile flavors, and shipping efficiencies:

  • Mango NFC Juice: Pressed directly from peeled, de-stoned ripe mangoes and flash-pasteurized. Because it avoids heavy thermal evaporation, it fully preserves the characteristic floral, peachy top-notes and rich color of the fresh fruit. It is the gold standard for clean-label, premium tropical beverages and craft RTD mocktails.

  • Mango Juice Concentrate: Produced by extracting the water content under low-temperature vacuum systems to a high-Brix, stable syrup. This format significantly cuts international freight and sub-zero storage costs. It acts as an efficient, highly versatile natural sweetener and tropical flavor building block for mass-market juices, sports drinks, and cordials.

Mango Essence (or aroma) is a water-soluble, crystal-clear liquid captured during the initial stage of juice concentration. When mango juice is heated under vacuum, the highly volatile aromatic compounds vaporize first. We capture and condense these vapors into a pure, concentrated top-note.

  • Because it provides an intense, authentic mango aroma without adding sugars, colors, or heavy solids, it is widely used to flavor sparkling waters, hard seltzers, clear spirits, and functional teas. It can also be added back into standard juice concentrates to restore a "fresh-picked" sensory profile.

Mango Kernel Oil (often referred to as mango butter) is a premium, high-value fat extracted from the nutrient-dense seed inside the mango stone. It is a highly sustainable, up-cycled product derived from the co-products of our juice processing stream. The kernels are separated, cleaned, and cold-pressed or extracted to yield a smooth, creamy fat that is solid at room temperature but melts seamlessly at human body temperature.
